AT&T has entered into a multi-year purchase agreement with Corning Incorporated
to provide next-generation fibre, fibre-optic cable and connectivity solutions that
will support AT&T's expansion of its fibre-optic network and help more Americans
access high-speed Internet.
With best-in-class fixed broadband offerings, AT&T is expanding its network
through organic investments, its Gigapower joint venture with BlackRock and several
recently announced commercial open access agreements.AT&T recently achieved its
fifth consecutive quarter of broadband subscriber growth, reaching 28.3 million
consumer and business locations, and is on track to reach more than 30 million locations.
